Broke my toe. Again.

And I’m not gonna post any pics. It sure does hurt. It’s wrapped and I’m keeping it iced. Someone is supplying me with pain meds. I will keep you posted on the healing progress. I will go to walk in if it swells horribly or looks bad in a few days. There isn’t much to do for a broken toe.

SG at Tampa Beerworks and a Lotus!

I didn’t drive the 2007 Elise. It is a very sleek and sexy car. I could barely slide myself in and then back out!

Jenn brought cupcakes so of course Rachel and I had to share one. Which turned into we both had to have our own. Super fun night and we brought 16 people to the show. It’s a great location and we love to bring our own food and drink tasty local beer. It is dog friendly too so when the temps drop we will take the girls along.

Magnolia

the most disappointing thing over the four days in texas was the impromptu stop at this place called Magnolia in Waco. I’d never heard of it and when a friend learned I was in Waco she said I must go check it out. The place is less than a mile from the Ranger Museum so we headed over.

The best part of Magnolia was the garden area. The cupcakes weren’t so-so. They (the city? Not sure who gets the money) charge $10 to park. I found a free spot on the street and walked two blocks.

People were standing in line for cupcakes and also to buy lots of McStuff in the store.

I like the show that inspired this place and am happy the family has created a legacy. However, I feel it should include much more local artisans etc. This was like over priced target or dollar store. Rant over!

Oh, the aluminum cans of drinking water were great and not over priced.
