It got colder and colder and then the rain started. I had to buy us hats and they were well worth the money. We returned to the hotel and watched the parade from the 27th floor. JW Marriott on Canal Street. If it warms a little and/rain clears we may venture out later. For now it’s nap time!

But we did get a short ride out to the cemeteries and back. We had to walk a few blocks. Thank goodness we did this before the rain started.
